Soccer Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

Cherokee's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Woodstock Wolverines by a score of 1-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 13, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Cherokee's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Woodstock, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-11.

Looking ahead, Cherokee will face off against Osborne at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodstock, they will welcome Sequoyah at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
