Soccer Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Harvey Red Raiders by a score of 3-2. Madison were not able to make up for their defeat to Harvey from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Chase Buckius and Josh Pekar scored both of Madison's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Harvey, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-6-1.

Looking ahead, Madison will head out on the road to challenge Chardon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison's defense better be ready for this one: Chardon have averaged an impressive 3.8 goals per game this season. As for Harvey, they will host Cornerstone Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
