Softball Recap: Wray/Yuma Wins Going Away Against Florence

Wray/Yuma never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Florence on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Huskies. Considering the Eagles have won four games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Wray/Yuma's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Florence, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Wray/Yuma wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-6 loss against Platte Valley on the 6th. As for Florence, they will head out to face off against The Classical Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
