Basketball Game Preview: Vistamar Vikings vs. WISH Academy Owls

The Vistamar Vikings will head out to square off against the WISH Academy Owls at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Friday, Vistamar came up short against Marymount and fell 44-31. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, WISH Academy's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Thursday. They lost 42-18 to Hawthorne Math & Science Academy. The loss put an end to the Owls' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, WISH Academy fell to 6-1. As for Vistamar, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Vistamar came up short against WISH Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 40-30. Can Vistamar avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
