Softball Recap: Forest City Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Forest City never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lake Mills Bulldogs as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Forest City's third in a row) raised their record to 12-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Lake Mills, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest City will challenge Iowa Falls-Alden on Monday. As for Lake Mills, they will head out to challenge Emmetsburg on Monday.
