Basketball Recap: Roseville Triumphs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Roseville walked away with it. They snuck past the Lindhurst Blazers with a 45-41 win on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-29 back in December of 2024.

Emelia Musquez had a dynamite game for Roseville, going 9-for-20 en route to 21 points along with five boards and four steals. Musquez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Ashlyn Kelley was another key player, putting up five points in addition to nine rebounds and five assists.

Roseville was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Despite the loss, Lindhurst still got an impressive performance from Danaya Stephens, who posted 14 points.

Roseville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season. Lindhurst's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 20-7.

Roseville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-27 defeat against Colfax on the 18th. Lindhurst does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
