Alisal waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 45-34 victory over the Pacific Grove Breakers. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while the Breakers are ranked 541st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Alisal has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Pacific Grove, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Alisal will square off against Evergreen Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pacific Grove, they will venture away from home to challenge Terra Nova at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Terra Nova is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.
