Softball Recap: Woodstock Comes Up Short

Woodstock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Pope Greyhounds, falling 10-2. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 14-1 to the Greyhounds when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Woodstock's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Pope, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Woodstock will square off against rival River Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pope is set to face off against their familiar foe Lassiter at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
