Softball Recap: Stephens County Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Stephens County fell victim to Madison County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 9-0 to the Red Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Indians have suffered since October 2, 2024.

Stephens County's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2. As for Madison County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Stephens County will take on Banks County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Leopards' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Madison County, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge North Oconee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Red Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
