Football Recap: Albemarle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Albemarle extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-4. They were beaten by the North Stanly Comets 37-0. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 24-0 to the Comets when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for North Stanly, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.7 points on average this season.

Zay Dockery had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 79 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also caught one TD.

Coming up, Albemarle will welcome Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Stanly, they will venture away from home to challenge South Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
