Softball Recap: Denmark Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Denmark and North Forsyth, and North Forsyth kept the tradition alive. Denmark fell just short of North Forsyth by a score of 14-13 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Forsyth this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 on Tuesday.

Denmark has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season. As for North Forsyth, they pushed their record up to 23-6 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home.

While Denmark had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
