Softball Recap: Webster City Lynx vs. Eagle Grove Eagles

After losing to Eagle Grove the last time they met, Webster City decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lynx sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Eagles on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lynx.
Webster City's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Eagle Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webster City will head out to challenge Southeast Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eagle Grove, they will take on Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS on Thursday.
