Football Game Preview: Breck Mustangs vs. South St. Paul Packers

The Breck Mustangs will face off against the South St. Paul Packers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Friday, Breck was beaten by St. Croix Lutheran/New Life Academy/Unity/Meadow Lake Woods Academy 62-15.

Meanwhile, South St. Paul didn't have too much trouble with Chisago Lakes Area on Friday as they won 36-20. Given the Packers' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Wildcats are ranked 230th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South St. Paul's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.0 points over those games. As for Breck, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2.
