Baseball Recap: St. Anne-Pacelli Comes Up Short

St. Anne-Pacelli lost against Strong Rock Christian back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 4-3. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Anne-Pacelli saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Zittrauer, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Levi Thompson was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

St. Anne-Pacelli's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Strong Rock Christian, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-16.

While St. Anne-Pacelli had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
