 In what's become a running theme this season, the Bakersfield Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Highland 70-6 on the road. That 64  points margin sets a new team best for Bakersfield Christian this season.
 Bakersfield Christian can attribute much of their success to  Ruby Yanagi, who  scored 20 points along with two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Yanagi has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Destiny Francies, who  scored nine points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Bakersfield Christian is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Highland, they are  on a six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-13.
 Bakersfield Christian will take on Hanford West at 5:45  p.m.  on Saturday. Hanford West will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 766th, while Bakersfield Christian is ranked 157th). As for Highland, they will head out on the road to  take on  Ridgeview at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
