After losing the first game of the series 3-2, Alexander went with Wise on the mound in game two on Tuesday. Wise responded by throwing a seven-inning no-hitter with 10 strikeouts.

However Wise was also responsible for most of Alexander's runs in the 4-0 win as he belted a two-run home run that reportedly flew over 400 feet. Wise finished 2-for-3 in the game.

Wise wasn't done providing the heroics, however. In the rubber game of the series on Wednesday, Wise brought Alexander from behind in the seventh inning with another 400-foot home run, this time a three-run clout that turned a 6-4 deficit into a 7-6 lead. Alexander went on to win the game 13-7 and Wise finished with a 3-for-4 effort at the plate.

Wise also pitched 1 1/3 innings in the game and did not allow any hits or any runs. For the season, according to stats provided on Gamechanger, Wise is batting .354 with 34 RBIs, 13 doubles and four home runs. He has a 9-2 record with 72 strikeouts.

Alexander (22-9) advances to the semifinals and will play Crisp County on Monday.
