Recap: Orland Trojans vs. Corning Cardinals
The Orland Trojans posted their biggest victory since December 7, 2023 on Wednesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 52-25 win over Corning. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Orland.
Orland found their leader in underclassman Lillianna Rowe, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cali Rosales, who scored 12 points.
Orland pushed their record up to 10-14 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Corning, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Gridley the next time they take the court. Corning will head out to face Gridley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Orland will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
