Softball Recap: Logan-Rogersville Takes a Loss

If Logan-Rogersville was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Aurora on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marshfield Bluejays on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Bluejays: they've now lost five in a row.

Logan-Rogersville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Filak, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that Filak has hit this season.

Logan-Rogersville now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Marshfield, their record is now 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan-Rogersville will host New Covenant Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marshfield, they will challenge Branson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
