Softball Recap: Sigourney Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Sigourney owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Keota Eagles 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in June.

Sigourney has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.1 runs over those games. As for Keota, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Sigourney has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Wayne on the 12th. Keota does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
