Soccer Game Preview: Rutland vs. Macon County

The Rutland Hurricanes will head out on the road to take on the Macon County Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rutland's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Rutland's offense. They lost 8-0 to Warner Robins on Friday.

Meanwhile, Macon County hadn't done well against Bleckley County recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Macon County was the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Bleckley County. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Rutland now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Macon County, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
