Basketball Recap: Foresthill Wildfires vs. John Adams Academy Patriots
The Foresthill Wildfires can now show off 18 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 61-29 win over John Adams Academy at home. Winning may never get old, but Foresthill sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
It was another big night for Addy Aldrich, who scored 18 points along with eight assists and five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Amy Saxelby, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Foresthill is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for John Adams Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foresthill will take on the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Delta: 29.5, the Wildfires: 28.9) so any points scored will be well earned. As for John Adams Academy, they will be playing at home against the Explorers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Westlake Charter focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Thursday.
