Baseball Recap: Jefferson County Starts Season with Win on the Road

Jefferson County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over the Cabell Midland Knights on Friday.

Cabell Midland's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9.

Jefferson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cabell Midland has already played their next game (against Bridgeport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
