Baseball Recap: Gordon Central Comes Up Short

Gordon Central lost to Gordon Lee on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors lost 18-5 to the Trojans. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Gordon Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Dyer, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Gordon Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Gordon Lee, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season.

Gordon Central will face off against Fannin County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gordon Lee, they will challenge Sonoraville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
