Lincoln County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Lund Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The Lynx have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Lincoln County never let Lund on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14.

Lincoln County's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Lund, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Lincoln County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on American Heritage Academy at 5:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Lund, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Spring Creek on the 22nd.
