Baseball Recap: East Hall Comes Up Short

East Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes, falling 12-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Purple Hurricanes this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-5 defeat on Friday.

East Hall's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Monroe Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Hall will challenge West Hall at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. East Hall is facing West Hall at the right time seeing as West Hall is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Monroe Area, they will head out to take on Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
