League recap: Delay's hot bat leads Northview

7A-AAAAA league recap: 3/20/13

Jason Delay was on fire this week, as he led 7A-AAAAA with a 1.000 average, four home runs and eight RBIs. Northview went 0-2.

Sequoyah outperformed the rest of the league this week, as its five total wins led the league. The Chiefs beat Osborne 10-0.

The Titans' pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only 33 hits and six walks, both of which led the league.

Northview's Delay is tearing up 7A-AAAAA this season as he leads the league in average, hits and RBIs. This season Delay has feasted on opponents pitching with a .583 average and 15 RBIs thanks to 14 hits.



The Titans' Delay racked up eight RBIs this week, more than any other hitter. He now stands at 15 RBIs on the season, which puts him first in the league.
