Football Recap: Baldwin Has No Trouble Against Wellsville + How To Watch

Baldwin won against Burlington last Friday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Bulldogs blew past the Wellsville Eagles 35-14. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Bryis Alford was his usual excellent self, throwing for 262 yards and four TDs on only 19 passes, while also punching in one touchdown on the ground. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024. Kreyton Frost handled things on the ground, rushing for 81 yards.

The victory made it two in a row for Baldwin and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points over those games. As for Wellsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baldwin will face off against Silver Lake on Friday. As for Wellsville, they will challenge Santa Fe Trail on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
