Volleyball Recap: Medomak Valley Takes a Loss

The Medomak Valley Panthers came up short against the Mount Desert Island Trojans on Saturday and fell 3-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Medomak Valley ultimately came up short, they really made Mount Desert Island work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 17-25, 26-24.

Medomak Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mount Desert Island, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Medomak Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gardiner at 5:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Mount Desert Island, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Hampden on the 7th.
