Baseball Recap: Sonoraville Comes Up Short

Sonoraville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coahulla Creek Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Thursday.

Sonoraville's loss dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Coahulla Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Sonoraville nor Coahulla Creek have any future games scheduled.
