Troy extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jayden Lucky. The Trojans took down the C.H. Yoe Yoemen 42-24 on Friday with plenty of help from Lucky, who rushed for 202 yards and three scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards dating back to last season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Troy's defense and their 11 sacks. It was truly a group effort as Mason Barnett, Kollin Roepke, and Tomas Lopez picked up two apiece. Roepke also made seven total tackles, which is notable because Troy is 3-1 when he posts at least three total tackles, but 1-2 otherwise. Another thorn in C.H. Yoe's side was Tedricc Calhoun, who picked up a sack and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Troy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for C.H. Yoe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Troy will head out to square off against Little River Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' defense better be ready for this one: the Bumblebees have averaged an impressive 30.9 points per game this season. As for C.H. Yoe, they will be playing at home against Rockdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Yoemen will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
