Softball Recap: Bishop Garrigan Comes Up Short

Bishop Garrigan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Collins-Maxwell. If the Golden Bears were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Collins-Maxwell when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bishop Garrigan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Collins-Maxwell, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

Bishop Garrigan has already played their next contest (against North Iowa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Collins-Maxwell, they have also already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Grand View Christian on the 28th.
