Baseball Recap: Webster County Falls to Pataula Charter Academy in First Game of Season

Webster County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 16-0 to the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 14 in a row.

The win was the sixth in a row for Pataula Charter Academy, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webster County will head out to face off against Taylor County at 4:30 p.m. on March 14th. As for Pataula Charter Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mitchell County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Pataula Charter Academy is facing Mitchell County at the right time seeing as Mitchell County is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
