Softball Recap: Kingsley-Pierson Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newell-Fonda, Kingsley-Pierson was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Woodbury Central Wildcats get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kingsley-Pierson pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Woodbury Central, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-9.

Kingsley-Pierson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against Newell-Fonda on the 11th. Woodbury Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
