Softball Recap: Howe Snags Seventh Victory in Last Nine Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Howe had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dale Pirates a 3-0 shutout. Three seems to be a good number for the Lions as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Howe has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-14 record this season. As for Dale, they moved to 20-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Howe nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
