Soccer Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss

Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the South Fork Cubs, falling 3-0. Middletown were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced South Fork earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for South Fork, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8-1.

Middletown wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Clear Lake on the 25th. As for South Fork, they have also already played their next matchup, a 5-2 loss against Eureka on the 27th.
