Baseball Recap: West Hall Find Success

West Hall got themselves on the board against East Hall on Tuesday, but East Hall never followed suit. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Vikings. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won eight in a row.

The result came thanks to John Kendrick's shutout, as he gave up just two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Marcus Pugh was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Colt Boykin, who scored two runs and stole three bases.

West Hall's win bumped their record up to 7-15. As for East Hall, they dropped their record down to 6-16 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

West Hall will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
