Softball Recap: Milton Eagles vs. Chamblee Bulldogs
Milton was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Chamblee Bulldogs. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly four runs.
Annabel Scott spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Reese Rountree, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Ellison Rucker, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
