Baseball Recap: M.L. King Comes Up Short

M.L. King and Starr's Mill squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but M.L. King had to settle for second. They lost 17-1 to the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Wednesday.

M.L. King has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season. As for Starr's Mill, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 23-6.

While M.L. King had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
