Softball Recap: Northeast Bearcats vs. Harrisburg Bulldogs
Northeast entered their contest against Harrisburg on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bearcats took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
Olivia Cross spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and six unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
