Volleyball Recap: Foard Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Foard and Bandys meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Tigers fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-2. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Foard took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 14-25, 25-20, 15-9.

Leading Bandys to victory were Reagan Saunders and Carson Paysour. Saunders had 13 assists and nine digs, while Paysour had 18 digs. Saunders is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Foard's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Bandys, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Foard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bandys, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Hickory on the 14th.
