Softball Game Preview: Cambridge Bears vs. Buford Wolves

The Cambridge Bears will face off against the Buford Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Cambridge sitting on eight straight victories and Buford on 23.

Cambridge's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Westminster with a sharp 6-0 win. Considering the Bears have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Buford faced Creekview in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wolves came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 5-1.

Buford's victory bumped their record up to 23-0. As for Cambridge, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
