Baseball Recap: Mercer County Comes Up Short

The Mercer County Golden Eagles lost 21-1 to the Princeton Tigers on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mercer County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Gray, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Mercer County's record now sits at 2-6. As for Princeton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mercer County will host Orion at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Princeton, they will be playing at home against Newman Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
