Football Recap: South Pontotoc Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Pontotoc was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Booneville Blue Devils 50-16.

Jack Sandlin was nothing short of spectacular for Booneville: he threw for 293 yards and four touchdowns. The Blue Devils are undefeated when Sandlin posts 250 or more passing yards, but 2-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Tj Nunn, who rushed for 78 yards and one TD.

South Pontotoc's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Booneville, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

South Pontotoc does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Booneville, they will host Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
