Coffee is 9-1 against Toombs County since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Coffee Trojans will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Toombs County Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Coffee came up short against Ware County and fell 8-3.

Coffee saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Strictland, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last matchup, Toombs County made sure to put some runs up on the board against Dublin on Tuesday. Toombs County put the hurt on Dublin with a sharp 15-3 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Fighting Irish recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Toombs County back to even at 1-1. As for Coffee, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Coffee came out on top in a nail-biter against Toombs County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, sneaking past 6-5. Does Coffee have another victory up their sleeve, or will Toombs County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
