Softball Recap: Afton Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Afton's offense. They came up short against the Adair Warriors on Thursday, falling 11-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost eight in a row.

Afton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Adair, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.

Adair didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-2 victory against Vinita on the 18th. Hopefully Afton paid attention to the Warriors' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Warriors at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
