Baseball Recap: Saturday's Loss Ends Redan's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Redan unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Grayson Rams by a score of 5-4. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to the Rams when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Matthew Evans made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played.

Redan's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Grayson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Redan and Grayson will both be playing Dacula the next time they take the field. Redan will head out to face Dacula at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Grayson will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
