Soccer Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Tracy Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Wolfpack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 621st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 63rd).

West's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-3. As for Tracy, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will challenge Lodi at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tracy, they will take on Kimball at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kimball's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
