Hillsboro took a 16-run loss the last time they faced off against Royall, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers on Monday, sneaking past 7-6.

Hillsboro has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Royall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Coming up, Hillsboro will be playing at home against Wonewoc-Center at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.15 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Royall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
