It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jones County can now relate to. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flowery Branch Falcons on Wednesday. The Greyhounds' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Jones County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Scarbary, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Jones County's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Flowery Branch, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-11.

While Jones County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
