Softball Recap: North Murray Takes a Loss

North Murray came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-0 to the Sonoraville Phoenix. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Phoenix this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on September 4th.

North Murray's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Sonoraville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Murray will welcome Pepperell at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sonoraville, they will challenge Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
